For this project, I used the eye that I created in week6. In order to get the blinking effect, I had to edit not only the eyelid but also the eyelash to make it look more realistic. I paid attention to the shape of the eyelids and tried to make it so that each part included the same shape. The eyeslashes were harder to do in that I had to edit the size and the length of the eyelashes for each action. I decided to go for the more pastel colors, so the colors appear light and creates a more happy atmosphere.
I was able to rotate each important piece to create a turning movement. No resizing was neccessary for the actions I wanted to move, so I used the same figure for each of the artboards. I used object selection to select myself out of the background and copy-pasted each image to use for each new movement. I kept to the basic colors and decided to keep the background simple.
The content aware selction allows you to retouch the image on a new layer. The brush can remove any unwanted objects in the original photo. Patching allows you to selct the object and replace it with the background colors or objects. Content-aware allows you to select a certain area and photoshop will use that selected object as a new sample layer. Object selection gives you the option to choose an object in a photo. Copying will put the selected object into a new layer and warping another image allows you to put the second photo onto the selected object. Creating animated gifs can be done by having multiple photos each with their own element of action and all layers need to be exported to the web to see a moving gif. Cinemagraphs allows for the background to stay the same while elements of the photo moves.
