setting/enviornment.
While looking for settings to ilustrate, this one caught my eye because it seemed the most different from all the other photos I saw. I wanted to choose an image that looked quiet and inviting, which was why I chose a photo that resembled a little spot on the street. I also like going to cafes and eating outdoor truck food, so I thought this was a close representation of what I like to do. The colors are definitely different from the original, but I still wanted the pastel look, so I chose colrs that were light but also easy on the eyes. I wasn't trying to go for the realistic look and instead portrayed the image as something from an animation. The use of 3D helped in this case. I also wanted to focus more on the objects so I didn't include a lot of words.
To create this setting, I first did an outline of all the shapes and patterns I wanted to include in my enviornment. Which were the chairs, the open sign, and the stand. The colors I chose were chosen from colors I thought would look good, and was not inspired by any of the original colors. I thought the objects looked really simple, so I decided to add a 3D effect to them by going into properties and choosing the edits I wanted to do with each of the objects. For the trees, I did it so it did not contain any of the original shapes. I drew outlines of multiple shapes and combined all of them to make it look like a tree. The texture for the trees was also done by going into properties and selecting the type of look I wanted. The background was a bit plain, so I decided to add some lines and decided to make a pattern with two colors. Although it was hard to only use three colors, I think it turned out good.
