  I chose to use these photos to envision the problems of pollution and isolation. I looked for backgrounds that related to scenes where these issues are being portrayed. All images were found on Google Chrome using the Creative Common licenses under the Usage Rights selection on the tools button. I wanted to create photos that not only show meaning to what I want to spread light on, but also appealing to the eyes.
  For the first image, Pollution, I gathered multiple images of "abandoned" toys and dolls and laid them out on the messy background filled with trash and unwanted items. To show contarst between the individual images and the background, I decided to add a pass through blend to it to make the toys pop up more. I also added some exposure and edited the curves to change the lighting tto make it a little darker.
  For the second image, I darkened the background layer with the Linear Burn option to make the enviornment look more gloomy. I also played around with exposure a little to adjust the background to fit the colors of the added individual images. All I did for the individual images for both photos was masking them and adding a new layer and adjusted them to be in a position that I thought would fit well in the screen.
